Trip to Destin

Last weekend we returned from a trip to Destin, FL with some friends from Taurean's dental class! We had a great time and I fell in love with the town.

Here is the condo where we stayed. It came with a golf cart for us to use during the week!

Here is my future town. Seaside. The homes were incredible! Seriously, like the Haunted Mansion @ Disneyland. I just need $2-3 million.

It rained everyday, so one day we decided to drive into Destin Harbor. We were there just as the deep sea fishing boats were returning and we got to watch the guys cut up all the fish the tourists caught, then they would bag it up for the tourists to keep. Taurean really wanted to do it, but we're saving up for our 2 Million dollar home in Seaside so we decided to pass. :)

Here are some pictures from the beach! In the one on the left we decided to take cover underneath the stairs while it was raining and lightening. The boys decided to brave the rain in the storm.

We went to a Sea food place called Stinky's for dinner one night. Taurean got all the oysters and crabs he wanted and I ate crackers and soup. Yum.

I managed to talk Taurean into renting bikes for the day and riding 3 miles along the road into Seaside. He was a good sport about it. I loved my bike. It even had a bell which I rang silly. We probably rode 7 miles total.

Here is one of the pretty places we discovered while riding our bikes. It's a community called Water Color where they have winding paths, houses, and everyone rides bikes or drive golf carts.
All in all it was a great trip and I'm already looking at the calendar to see when we can go again.
